Hmx Valerian Light
HMX
Switch Overview
We are looking at right now, the HMX Valerian light tactile switch designed by Mori. The Valerian switch features a rather interesting choice of materials; both the stem and the top housing are made of POM and are produced using HMX's new molds. The top housing is the same as some of the latest HMX switches, such as cosmic purple and Yogurt V2, etc, which are compatible with HMX's light diffusers. The bottom housing is made of N1 nylon and thickened, which is a rare combination of material and mold to be seen on HMX switches. Each keystroke is super smooth and satisfying when the stem slides through the light tactile bump. The thickened bottom housing creates an overall loud and full sound profile which makes them sound good on most keyboard builds. Factory Lubed: Yes! Stem legs and stem sliders are covered with a very thin coat of 205g0. The spring and leaf are lubed with dry film. Everything else is dry. There is no lube in the bottom housing or anywhere near the stem pole.
